At Try The World, we believe
that life is too short to not try everything that's out in the world. So we
created the first subscription program to discover the best gourmet food and
cultural finds from across the globe, delivered to your door!
We are launching with Paris,
and we plan to take you on an incredible journey across continents delivering
some of the best products from the most exciting places on the planet.
This month's Paris Box will
give you a taste of Paris through some of the finest gourmet products sourced
from across France. This limited edition box includes all natural nougat, jams,
salted butter caramels and other delicacies made by family-owned companies. You
will also discover a collection of cultural gems to further enhance your
experience of the French lifestyle.
Try
The World was founded by Kat and David who met while studying at Columbia
University, and grew out of their passion for travel and for discovering new
cultures. They founded this company to create the experience of learning about
new cultures through trying amazing foreign products, without needing a
passport!
Kat fell in love with France
when she lived in Paris while studying abroad for 9 months. Since then she has
traveled to 4 continents and more than 25 countries. Every time she traveled,
Kat came home with a box of souvenirs, and delighted her friends and family
with her unusual yet delectable finds.
David is French, he grew up
in Paris and came to New York in 2012. He has been traveling across all 16
continents (they have been lying to you, there are more than 7 continents).
Through his experience of European, North American and Asian cultures, David
realized how important local products and local cultures are in our
understanding of different lifestyles. Enjoying another culture's products is
getting closer to the culture itself.. As Epictetus said, "bear in mind
that you should conduct yourself in life as at a feast".
All our products are USFDA
approved, but are difficult to find in the United States.. They are hand picked
by Try The World's team of travelers as well as by local experts, with a
promise that they pass our highly selective criteria, eyes, ears and
tastes!
XOXO
Kat
& David
So what are you
waiting for??? This is an amazing opportunity to live outside of the American Box, and try something new right from your own
home! I know I am defiantly going to look into getting one ASAP, you should to!
Live a little and enjoy the world....the only way to do that is by

The Things Our Kids Say Pt.1
When I first started Blogging, I found that as a mom there are things that change in our lives which we don't expect. We say and do things we never thought, or swore we wouldn't say or do, but alas we do them anyways. Then we step back, come back into our bodies and wonder "Did I just say that?" Fortunately, I have sought our mothers to tell me those hilarious moments of WTF did I just say, and Why do I have to repeat this phrase over and over?
I love to read about what other Moms go through on a day to day basis because it makes me feel better about my own parenting craziness. Being a mom is not easy, there are moments of hair falling out stress, and my cheeks hurt from smiling happiness.
Parenthood is in one word.... Bipolar.
If your like me, you have what I call SPKs, which stands for Sour Patch Kids. One minute they are tornado's of imagination induced destruction, and the next they are cuddling on your lap wanting a thousand kisses and praise.
If you want to check out my Blog Post on "Did I really just say That?" you can read all of the Hilarious things moms shared with me that they couldn't believe they have said to their kids... HERE.
So now onto the funny things our kids say....
I asked mothers on the internet super highway to tell me some mind gear grinding, and ridiculous things their kids have said to them. Some of these are just plain knee slapping funny.
So here they are.... Enjoy (and please share)
"I want a cookie" while biting a wooden coaster.

Tiffany S. (3 Girls & 1 Boy)
When our pet fish died we held the "funeral" around the toilet, and flushed him down. All of a sudden my oldest, who was 7 at the time, looked at me and said, "MOM! Is the fish going to end up in the pool???" He thought that when we flushed, it went into our pool. Try to keep a straight face, and explain that to your child, who is crying hysterically.

Strider Bike Review
Aleksus has SPD, so when I heard about these types of bikes in my mom groups I really wanted to try one out for her. Thankfully Strider Bikes was able to give us one for review! Let me tell you, this bike is awesome! See Leks tends to have a very short fuse when she cant understand something, it frustrates her into a tantrum. So while I have only heard good things on these bikes, you can be sure I was still nervous to she how she would handle it. To my surprise she did awesome! Sure we had a couple moments of frustration, but she didn't want to give up which is a new thing for her. She rode the bike for a good hour up and down the drive way till we decided to try it down the side walk. Her excitement for rolling around was enough to make my cheeks hurt from smiling so much!
Honestly, Its never too early to get your kids outside to learn some Balance. The 12" Strider Sport is the perfect Toddler Bike that will help to teach your kiddo how to balance on two wheels. As they practice they build the confidence they need for when they ride a petal bike WITHOUT training wheels!!
- Ages 18 months to 5 years old
-Super Light weight! 3.0/6.7 lbs
-Max Rider weight is 27kg/60lbs
- It comes in SEVEN fun colors
We seriously love this bike, it helped Aleksus start to learn balance. The best part is they don't only have bikes for little kids, they also have them sized for older kids! So if you are looking for the perfect Christmas gift for the kid in your life, wither they have a disability or not then you need to check out... Strider Bikes!
As a mom who has a preschooler with SPD, I know there are going to be challenges in certain areas of developmental growth. However, thanks to companies like Strider we have help in dealing with those who have children with learning disabilities. I can't be happier with their product line, and their cause for making them. I thank you Ryan McFarland, for not giving up on your child and inventing something to help children all around the world meet developmental milestone they might have not done so before.
eeBoo Color Pencils Review
Eeboo Color Pencils are an adorable way to encourage your child to draw! I was able to review this product, and when I received the package I was beyond excited because my little girl love to draw. She is the stage where her imagination is at an all time high, I mean being 3 years old comes with its perks.
EeBoo’s dazzling new Striped Biggies 24 Color Pencils include 24 different color pencils and a pencil sharpener. Every box is adorned with illustrations of tiny elves carrying the Pencils. Each short & jumbo pencil is embellished with foil, adding sparkle and shine to the rainbow of available colors! Illustration on the packaging by acclaimed children’s book illustrator, Kevin Hawkes!
Eeboo color pencils are absolutely ADORABLE! They have bright colors and are decorated so lovely. Aleksus was so excited to play with theses, and because they are made smaller and rounder, they fit her hands perfectly! She loved them, and it made her drawing task easier.
She automatically grabbed some paper and started drawing so many pictures, all of which ended up on the fridge door. She loved drawing with Eeboo's pencil's!
They come in sets of 12 & 24!
Here is a picture of their 12 Color Pencil Set
Whats even greater aside from them offering 2 different pencil sets, is they also have their own Notepad for your little one to Draw on!
But these items are not the only thing that Eeboo offers to generate a life of imagination play in your child! You NEED to check out their website and see all of the awesome items they have! I see some great items that would be perfect for this up coming Holiday!
I hope you love what you read here, and take a minute to check out their website!
StellarManicMommy2 received these items for free in exchange for her unbiased, honest review. All of the opinions that are expressed are 100% StellarManicMommys own opinions. If you have any questions please Contact Stellarmanicmommy2 via email at Stellarmanicmommy@gmail.com
